We are not as smart

At the end of the nineteenth century, the head of the patent office in the USA announced that soon they were going to close that institution because nothing new can be invented. 🙂 Then some other people claimed that it is impossible to fly a vehicle that is heavier than air, that the Titanic will not sink, that a man will never stand on the moon and that many other things, which in fact happened some time later, were impossible.

For sure, there would be enough time to get bored with the ark and they could still enter it two days before the rain! Or a day before! We could picture the scene well, with the neighbors knocking at the door of the ark yelling:
- Knock knock neighbor! Are you all good in there? Does it already smell? Would you like a pair of elephants to help you move this ship?
